Last week was a pretty busy one for new game releases, and the UK has responded in kind, putting a whole two of them in the top 10. The latest physical game chart is in, and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is the main event for PlayStation users, debuting in second place. It loses out on a number one result thanks to Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
The other key new release is PlayStation console exclusive Ghostwire: Tokyo, which just misses out on a top 10 debut, landing in 11th. Elden Ring is, as you'd expect, still going strong with a small shift to third place, while Gran Turismo 7 pumps the brakes, moving to fourth. Also taking a tumble are WWE 2K22, moving from third to eighth, and Horizon Forbidden West, which glides from seventh to ninth.
Here's the latest top 10 in full.
UK Sales Charts: Week Ending 26th March 2022
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land
- Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
- Elden Ring
- Gran Turismo 7
- Pokémon Legends: Arceus
- FIFA 22
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
- WWE 2K22
- Horizon Forbidden West
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

A surprising return of NSMBU. What could be the reason?
April seems like a quiet month after March. I can't help thinking a couple of the games from March should have been released in April.
Gran Turismo 7 hitting the skids I wonder why?
Wow Ghostwire sales are disappointing
I honestly thought GTAV was going to storm it with all the low cost next gen GTAV versions. Are these not included? Seems odd it's not in the Top 10 when it's almost been ever present for almost 9 straight years...
Damn Gt7 still holding its own.
ouch at ghostwire, an original single player ip - deserves so much better. who buys these awful Fifa games. depressing.
@themightyant think this is boxed only charts
@Number09 Hitting the skids? You mean after being number 1 for 3 weeks straight? Of course, as some point it decreases in position. It's still top 5 after 4 weeks. How many games besides them annual games can claim that? Especially nowadays.
Elden Ring is another one of them btw.
It's been a great start to the year with Elden Ring and Kirby being highlights for me, with GT7 (online issues aside) and Horizon being very well received too
Ouch for ghostwire lol that's pretty bad for a new playstation exclusive albeit a timed one from Bethesda, looks like people saw it was mediocre and couldn't be bothered with it
@JAMes-BroWWWn i agree. For a racing game to be at No1 for that long with the other big releases is an incredibe achievement.
If Tiny Tina outsold Kirby, I’d be depressed. Lol. Played through Kirby this weekend and it’s such a welcome respite from all the RPGs and open world games so far this year. It’s incredible.
That’s such a bad debut for Ghostwire though. Sony bombarded us with Deathloop PR, but Ghostwire was pretty quiet. Perhaps Sony knew it was taking the L on the game after the MS acquisition? I don’t foresee Ghostwire’s sales increasing much in the future either. I’d imagine this one will be considered an ultimate failure of a release. That said, I got this one too this weekend. Haven’t started it up. I know reviews were all over the place and clearly not many people want to play it, but I’m still curious…
@Vivisapprentice at guess the exclusive ps plus preorder discount is not really a saving compared the near future discount in spring/summer sale. At a guess 40% off or 29.99
Not shocked that Kirby is top, its a fantastic game and people sure love buying big Switch games.
As for Tiny Tina well i bought it this morning and love it, i skipped BL3 so its been a very long time since i last played BL so its nice being back with my fav BL character in Tina who Ashly Burch is amazing as. The fantasy setting is also great.
No GTAV? 😱 has everyone finally bought it? 😂
I picked up the new Kirby game. And like all recent Kirby games, it kind of feels like playing nothing.
More like Kirby and the Forgotten Bland amiright?
Still on Elden Ring and GT7. The bang for the buck is amazing, not surprised they are still up there.
Kirby and Tina, are next on deck for me (but both are rentals, gaming budget is done 😅) Good times!
Played Kirby over the weekend and it's a lovely game. I think it's the best Kirby game since Planet Robobot myself.
Well-deserved. It's a lot of fun, and easily one of the best games in the series.
Elden Ring continues to be a juggernaut as well.
@Enuo haha, you're that guy walking around trying to get high fives, but you don't get one. 🤣
Removed - flaming/arguing
@Enuo No, not "rite" at all.
If it wasn't for Ikumi Nakamura's E3 presentation, GWT would've had even less attention paid to it. The game never looked very good, and that recent gameplay trailer was an absolute snoozefest. "Let's take a great ghost finding concept like Fatal Frame, and suck all the fun and intrigue out of it! Brilliant!". 🤦♂️
At least Kirby's doing well.
GTA5 will be back once the the free period for the online runs out.
GT7 is just more proof that Sony leadership believe they can do what ever because people will blindly buy their products. Should now be "For the Share Holders"
